Abby + Nigel / Sunset Picnic Engagement

I wish I could sit here and tell you how I had the most brilliant idea to capture a couple shopping for food (a favourite past time for myself also) and then preparing/eating it in the cutest way possible. Sadly, all I did was photograph this session - straight out of the mind Abby and Nigel, and it is just WOW ALL THE WAY THROUGH.

We started at a Guelph staple - Market Fresh Shops in downtown, to grab the fixings’ for some sweet charcuterie. Then we took a little drive up to Orangeville, at the amphitheatre where they had originally hoped to host their wedding. Even though it wasn’t in the cards, it was wonderful that we could still include it in their love story somehow. (And wait til you scroll down to see that golden hour)

The picnic brought significance to our session as well, as Nigel had intended to propose to Abby at a picnic with their families. And if I recall the story correctly, *someone* accidentally saw some emails pertaining to the planning of such an event, but kindly fessed-up the the surprise had been compromised. Moral of the story, they ended up engaged eventually. Still very much in love, and here we are. Legendary engagement session.
